Note: Both Halifax and Rouyn-Noranda have qualified for the 2019 Memorial Cup. Halifax received an automatic bid as the tournament host, meaning the Huskies will be the QMJHL representative as the highest-remaining seed, regardless of who wins the league title.
WILDE AND JENKINS LOSE GAME 7 TO GUELPH:
Bode Wilde, Blade Jenkins and the Saginaw Spirit lost Game 7 of the OHL conference finals on Monday night, falling 3-2 to the Guelph Storm.
Saginaw led the best-of-seven series 3-1, but Guelph came back with three straight wins to advance to the OHL Championship Series. Guelph will face the Ottawa 67's in the OHL's Championship Series.
Jenkins, the Isles' 2018 fifth-round pick (134th overall) finished the playoffs with nine points (5G, 4A) through 17 games.
Wilde, the Isles' 2018 second-round pick (41st overall) hasn't had a point since scoring in Game 2 on April 20. The 19-year-old blueliner finished the playoffs with nine points (7G, 2A) through 17 games.
