DOBSON AND DURANDEAU TO CLASH IN QMJHL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Noah Dobson and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies will go head-to-head against Arnaud Durandeau and the Halifax Mooseheads in the QMJHL 2019 Rogers President Cup Final.
Dobson and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies swept Rimouski Oceanic in four games of the conference semifinals to advance to the QMJHL Final. The Huskies swept the Victoriaville Tigres in the conference quarterfinals and required six games to advance past the first round over the Shawinigan Cataractes.

Dobson, the Isles' 2018 first-round pick (12th overall) scored twice in the Huskies 5-2 win in Game 3 on April 23. The 19-year-old defenseman has 20 points (6G, 14A) in 14 games in the 2019 playoffs, leading all QMJHL defensemen.

Halifax advanced to the Rogers President Cup Final in six games over Drummondville Voltigeurs of the conference semifinals. The Mooseheads swept the Moncton Wildcats in the quarterfinals and won in Game 7 over the Québec Remparts in the first round.
Durandeau has scored in the last two games and has points in the last three games. Durandeau scored in the Mooseheads 6-2 loss in Game 5 on April 26 and scored Halifax's first goal in its 2-1 win in Game 6 on April 28.
Durandeau, the Isles 2017 sixth-round pick (165th overall), has 13 points (7G, 6A) in 17 playoff games.

Note: Both Halifax and Rouyn-Noranda have qualified for the 2019 Memorial Cup. Halifax received an automatic bid as the tournament host, meaning the Huskies will be the QMJHL representative as the highest-remaining seed, regardless of who wins the league title.
WILDE AND JENKINS LOSE GAME 7 TO GUELPH:
Bode Wilde, Blade Jenkins and the Saginaw Spirit lost Game 7 of the OHL conference finals on Monday night, falling 3-2 to the Guelph Storm.
Saginaw led the best-of-seven series 3-1, but Guelph came back with three straight wins to advance to the OHL Championship Series. Guelph will face the Ottawa 67's in the OHL's Championship Series.
Jenkins, the Isles' 2018 fifth-round pick (134th overall) finished the playoffs with nine points (5G, 4A) through 17 games.
Wilde, the Isles' 2018 second-round pick (41st overall) hasn't had a point since scoring in Game 2 on April 20. The 19-year-old blueliner finished the playoffs with nine points (7G, 2A) through 17 games.
