Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

In total, Jefferies scored three goals over the two games. On Friday, the sophomore winger broke a 2-2 tie early in the third period to power Merrimack to a 3-2 win. On Saturday, Jefferies started and finished Merrimack's comeback. Down 2-0 in the third period, Jefferies put his school on the board with a power-play goal at 13:40. After Merrimack tied the score, Jefferies scored the OT winner 2:43 into the extra frame completing the comeback and weekend sweep.

The Islanders' 2020 fourth-round pick (121st overall) extended his goal streak to three games with four total goals over that span. Jefferies has 20 points (9G, 11A) in 28 games this season and his three game-winning goals lead Merrimack.
Merrimack is tied for third in the Hockey East with a 12-9-0 record. Overall the Warriors are 17-12-1 this season.

RÄTY RECORDS THREE-POINT WEEK:

Aatu Räty recorded three assists for Jukurit last week. The Islanders' 2021 second-round pick (52nd overall) had one helper in a 4-3 win over Ilves on Friday and picked up a pair of assists in a 3-2 win against Tappara on Saturday.
Räty has points in seven of eight games in February, amassing 11 points (4G, 7A) over that span. The 19-year-old is averaging a point-per-game with Jukurit with 31 points (12G, 19A) in 31 games and is tied for second in team scoring.
Jukurit currently leads Liiga - Finland's top league - with a 24-15-7-4 (W-L-OTW-OTL) record and 90 points.

DUFOUR RECORDS FOUR-POINT WEEK:

William Dufour recorded four points (2G, 2A) in three games last week for the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL. Dufour started the week with an assist in Saint John's 3-2 win over Halifax on Friday. The Islanders' 2020 fifth-round pick (152nd overall) then scored a pair of goals in the Sea Dogs' 6-3 win over Victoriaville on Saturday, marking his seventh, two-goal game of the season. He rounded out the weekend with an assist in a 2-1 loss to Drummondville on Sunday.
Dufour currently leads the QMJHL with 62 points (30G, 32A) in 36 games this season. Dufour's 30 goals and 62 points are both career highs, surpassing his previous highs of 28 goals and 55 points in 59 games set during the 2019-20 season.
The Sea Dogs are sixth in the QMJHL standings with a 21-14-3 record.
