The New York Islanders announced today that the team has reduced their training camp roster to 28 players (17 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders) remaining in camp.
The following players have all been assigned to Bridgeport (AHL): Sebastian Aho, Kieffer Bellows, Michael Dal Colle, Ben Holmstrom, Josh Ho-Sang, Jeremy Smith, Travis St. Denis and Parker Wotherspoon.
Noah Dobson has been assigned to his Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team, Acadie-Bathurst. The Islanders continue their preseason schedule Wednesday when they take on the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden at 7 p.m. The team will conclude their preseason schedule on Friday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. when they take on the Buffalo Sabres at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa, ON.
