Following the NHL Trade Deadline on Monday afternoon, General Manager and President Lou Lamoriello confirmed a series of transactions. Kieffer Bellows and Otto Koivula were returned on loan to Bridgeport, preserving their eligibility to play in the AHL for the rest of the season and playoffs, if needed. Andrew Ladd was recalled from loan and Cal Clutterbuck, who was on a conditioning stint in Bridgeport, was also recalled. [UPDATE: Koivula was recalled on Monday evening.]

"We will be sending Kieffer Bellows back," Lamoriello said. "We have assigned [Otto] Koivula also but will be recalling him back up so that we have the ability to send him to the minors if we wish to do that. We also have recalled Ladd, who will remain on our roster through the rest of the year and not be assigned to Bridgeport at any given time."

Bellows played eight games in the NHL and registered three points (2G, 1A) and scored his first two goals against Los Angeles on Feb. 6. Koivula has suited up in nine NHL games and most recently drew in the lineup against San Jose on Feb. 23.
Clutterbuck has been sidelined since Dec. 19 after suffering a laceration to his wrist that required surgery. The winger played in two games with Bridgeport during his conditioning stint. Ladd drew into the lineup for the Islanders on Feb. 21 against Detroit, but was returned to Bridgeport on loan on Feb. 23. The winger has played in 34 games with the Sound Tigers this season and compiled 14 points (11G, 3A).
Clutterbuck is expected to be on the ice for morning skate on Tuesday.
