Matt Martin was activated off IR on Tuesday morning

Matt Martin was activated off injured reserve on Tuesday morning, clearing the way for the Islanders forward to return to the lineup against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night.

Martin had missed five consecutive games with an upper-body injury and was placed on IR retroactive to Nov. 15.

Martin has two points (1G, 1A) in 14 games this season.
