Isles Day to Day: Nelson Placed in COVID-19 Protocol

Brock Nelson was placed in COVID-19 protocol, the New York Islanders announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Nelson is the fifth Islander to enter protocol since returning from the holiday break. Anthony Beauvillier, Cal Clutterbuck, Zach Parise and Oliver Wahlstrom were placed in protocol on Dec. 26.
The center leads the Islanders with 10 goals this season, despite missing seven games in late November/early December with a lower-body injury.
