Pelech-Blue

Adam Pelech missed Thursday's practice after leaving Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Blues early with an injury. Pelech left the game after being pushed into the boards by Robert Bortuzzo, who was penalized for roughing.
After practice Thursday, Head Coach Lane Lambert said Pelech was day-to-day with an upper-body injury and did not comment on his availability for Friday's game against the New Jersey Devils.
This season, Pelech has scored 11 points (3G, 8A) in 27 games. He averages a team-leading 20:49 TOI per game and also leads the team with a +12 rating. Pelech has 41 shot blocks and 39 hits.

Robin Salo played with Ryan Pulock in practice in place of Pelech and Lambert said Salo would play if Pelech were unavailable vs New Jersey. Salo has not suited up for the Islanders since Oct. 20, but has played four games in Bridgeport over that span.
Cal Clutterbuck was a full participant in practice for the first time on Thursday. Clutterbuck has been out since Nov. 29 against the Philadelphia Flyers with an upper-body injury. Lambert said Clutterbuck is a game-time decision for Friday against the Devils.
The Islanders also practiced in their Reverse Retro pants and socks for the first time on Thursday. The Islanders will make their debut in the Reverse Retro jerseys on Dec. 10 against the Carolina Hurricanes at UBS Arena.
