Sebastian Aho, Anthony Beauvillier and Tanner Fritz were loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday afternoon, as the New York Islanders get set to begin their league-mandated bye week.
The move allows all three players to practice and play with the Sound Tigers, who are in action on Wednesday vs Hartford and Friday in Providence. NHL teams are not permitted to practice or play during their five-day break.

Aho and Fritz made their NHL debuts and played three games each on their first NHL recalls. Aho debuted on Dec. 31 vs Colorado and scored his first-career goal on Sunday vs New Jersey. Fritz made his debut on Tuesday night against Boston. Both players were recently named to the AHL All-Star Classic.
As for Beauvillier, the forward was loaned to Bridgeport on New Year's Day and recalled under emergency conditions on Saturday afternoon. Beauvillier scored two goals in two games with the Sound Tigers and scored in his return to the Islanders.
