Varlamov

Semyon Varlamov is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury, Islanders President and General Manager Lou Lamoriello announced on Monday.
Varlamov left Saturday's game in Vegas with 6:22 remaining and will not be in the lineup Monday night in Colorado. Varlamov has a 4-0-1 record in his last five games. Lamoriello said he did not expect Varlamov to be sidelined long term.

Cory Schneider was
recalled from the Bridgeport Islanders on emergency conditions
on Sunday and took part in Monday's morning skate. Expected to backup Ilya Sorokin in Colorado, Schneider holds a 10-3-2 record with a 2.51 GAA and .921 SV% in the AHL this season. In April 2022, Schneider played in one NHL game with the Islanders defeating the New Jersey Devils in his first NHL action since March 2020.

Cal Clutterbuck and Kyle Palmieri will
miss their second consecutive games
and are considered day to day with upper body injuries.
The Islanders look to sweep the two game season series from Colorado as they play their fourth game in a season long five game road trip. The Isles last swept Colorado in a season series in 2018-19 and have done so three times in series of at least two games since the Avalanche moved to Denver in 1995.
