Isles Hosting Plaza Party Presented by Heineken Ahead of Playoff Games

The party at UBS Arena starts on the plaza.
The New York Islanders are hosting a pre-game plaza party, presented by Heineken, ahead of Game Six against the Carolina Hurricanes. The plaza party starts on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. and is the perfect place to pregame and prepare as the Isles look to even their First Round series.

Fans will get to enjoy 20% off all food and beverage on the plaza, including $7.99 for 12oz cans of Heineken Silver, and $4.99 Hot Dogs or Pretzels.

Shawn Bates will be joining the party with a pregame meet & greet from 5-6 p.m. on Friday. Sparky and Nyisles will also be on the plaza for photos before all home games. The Bates meet & greet and the mascot appearances on the plaza will be weather dependent, and will be moved to inside the arena should it rain.
In addition to meet & greets and concession specials, backyard games like cornhole, giant Jenga and Connect 4 will be available. DJ Ria will be on the ones and twos, providing the soundtrack.
Fans will be able to hone their slapshot in the slapshot booth and spin a prize wheel.
