Isles to Host Five Nights to Celebrate Five Decades in 50th Anniversary

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the New York Islanders, the team is going back in time with a series of five home games, each themed to celebrate one of the five decades in the team's history.
These Nights are: 70's (
Oct. 29 vs. Colorado
), 80's (
Nov. 26 vs. Philadelphia
), 90's (
Dec. 23 vs. Florida
), 00's (
Jan. 28 vs. Vegas
) and 10's (
Feb. 24 vs. Los Angeles
). During each of those games, fans can expect an immersive 360 experience that time warps back to that decade. The game presentation will feature visuals, music, trivia, and references all from the decade.

During each of the five nights, American Express will roll back the price of one concession item to the cost from that decade for all fans. 70's ($0.75 popcorn), 80's ($0.75 bottled soda, Iced Tea, Powerade), 90's ($0.50 candy), 00's ($1.50 soft pretzel), 10's ($4 hot dog)*.
Heineken will host a themed party on the Heineken Terrace for each game, celebrating that decade, with a DJ spinning throwback tunes. All fans are encouraged to join Sparky in dressing up and getting out on the dance floor. The 70's Night is this Saturday and Chico Resch, an Islanders goaltender on the first Stanley Cup winning team, will be at UBS Arena.
