LINEUP NOTES:
Thomas Greiss will start in goal. Dennis Seidenberg and Ryan Pulock draw into the lineup for Thomas Hickey and Scott Mayfield.
Greiss is riding a personal five-game winning streak, most recently making 26 saves in a 5-4 OT win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday. Greiss is 8-2-2 this season, but had backed up Jaroslav Halak for the past two games.
"Tommy has a good streak going on," head coach Doug Weight said. "You definitely think of not just streak, but how they're playing, where the games are, the calendar and all that comes into it. Right now, they both stepped their game up."
ISLANDERS PROJECTED LINES:
CIZIKAS OUT:
Casey Cizikas will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury. Cizikas did not practice with the team this week, but skated before the optional morning skate.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SCORING FIRST:
Per Eric Hornick's The Skinny:
The Isles scored the first goal for the 10th time in 24 games (10-0-0) and also remain perfect in games they lead after one period (9-0-0) and after two periods (11-0-0).
WE MEET AGAIN:
The Islanders and Senators meet for the second time in a week. The Islanders beat the Senators 2-1 in Ottawa on Saturday and are 4-2-0 in their last six games against the Sens. A win tonight would be the Isles third in a row vs Ottawa.

Craig Anderson started last week's Isles-Sens matchup, stopping 22-of-24 shots in what was a closely, contested defensive game. Anderson is 7-8-3 this season with a 2.95 goals-against average and a .895 save percentage.
