New - Direct LIRR Service to UBS Arena

Starting today, every Long Island Rail Road train on the Ronkonkoma, Huntington, and Hempstead lines now stops at the Elmont-UBS Arena Station. This means there are more trains stopping at UBS Arena all day, every day, whether you are coming from east or west of the arena.
Grand Central Madison, the new Long Island Rail Road station located on the west side of Grand Central Terminal, under Vanderbilt Avenue, is open with direct LIRR service to and from UBS Arena. Now you can get to UBS Arena in just 31 minutes from either Grand Central or Penn Station.

The Hicksville Station, which is a 13 minute ride to UBS Arena and $3.25 fare, now offers fans many more trains per hour running to and from Islanders games, making the trip from east of the arena easier than ever.
