Giddy up! It's time for the 2023 NHL Draft in Nashville.

The first round will be held at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 28 (ESPN, Sportsnet, TVA Sports). Day two will cover rounds 2-7 beginning at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 29 (NHL Network, Sportsnet, TVA Sports)

The Islanders have the following picks:

Round 2: 49th Overall Danny Nelson

Round 4: 113th Overall

Round 5: 145th Overall

Round 6: 177th Overall

Round 7: 209th Overall

Notable picks at 49 include: Mike Cammalleri (2001), Shea Weber (2003), former Islander Christopher Gibson (2011) and Roope Hintz (2015).

The Islanders dealt their own first-round pick to Vancouver in the Bo Horvat trade last season. This marks the fourth-straight draft the Islanders do not own a first-round pick, trading their last three for JG Pageau (2020), Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac (2021) and Alexander Romanov (2023), respectively.

The Islanders dealt their third-round pick to the Arizona Coyotes as part of the Andrew Ladd trade in 2021.
