New York Islanders Announce Reverse Retro Jersey

As part of the New York Islanders 50th Anniversary celebration, and in partnership with the NHL and adidas, the team launched today the 2022-23 Reverse Retro jersey, which revitalizes the Islanders' fisherman jersey from the '90s with a modern interpretation.
The uniform presents a powerful head-to-toe navy blue color scheme complemented by clean orange and white trims. The center crest will feature dimensional raised embroidery of the historic Islanders' fisherman logo with teal accents in the waves and on the hockey stick.

The team will wear the Reverse Retro jersey for six home games, starting Dec. 10 against the Carolina Hurricanes. The remaining five games are Dec. 23 (Florida Panthers), Dec. 27 (Pittsburgh Penguins), Jan. 12 (Minnesota Wild), Jan. 21 (Carolina Hurricanes) and Jan. 28 (Vegas Golden Knights).
The preorder window for the jersey begins today and runs through Nov. 14, exclusively on IslesLab.com. The Isles Lab Team Store will host a special Reverse Retro Event on Nov. 15 inside UBS Arena to kick off the first day of the jersey officially being on sale.
