Parise-Nystrom-Award

Zach Parise was voted as the winner of the 2021-22 Bob Nystrom Award. The recognition was voted by fans and given to the player among the New York Islanders roster who best exemplifies leadership, hustle and dedication.
Parise wins the award for the first time.
The 37-year-old Parise was the only Islanders player to appear in all 82 games last season, racking up 35 points (15G, 20A) over that span. Parise surpassed the 1,100 game mark, as well as the 400 goal mark this season. Parise's four game-winning goals were tied for third on the team this season.
