SALO SCORES POWER-PLAY TALLY

Robin Salo scored a power-play goal, which doubled as his sixth goal of the season, last week with Orebro in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The defenseman lit the lamp on Feb. 27 in Orebro's 4-2 loss to Linkoping. In four meetings total against Linkoping this season, Salo has compiled seven points (3G, 4A).
Through 44 games this season, the Islanders' 2017 second rounder (46th overall) has totaled 29 points (6G, 23A). Orebro and Salo are ranked fifth overall in the SHL with a record of (22-3-4-16) (3P-2P-1P-0P).

ISKHAKOV PICKS UP FIFTH GOAL OF THE SEASON

Ruslan Iskhakov lit the lamp for the fifth time this season for TPS a 4-3 win over JYP on Feb. 23.
The Islanders' 2018 second rounder (43rd overall) has now compiled 24 points (5G, 19A) in 36 games this season. The winger and TPS are ranked fourth overall in Liiga with their 17-14-10 record.

LJUNGKRANTZ LIGHTS THE LAMP

Over in Hockeyettan - the third-tier of professional hockey in Sweden - Alexander Ljungkrantz potted his seventh goal of the season with Stromsbro.
The Islanders' 2020 third rounder (90th overall) has picked up 10 points (7G, 3A) in 11 games. Ljungkrantz and Strombsro are placed third in the league.

COCKERILL NETS GAME-WINNER

Logan Cockerill scored his fifth goal of his senior season with the Boston University Terriers on Feb. 27. Cockerill's even-strength goal was also the game-winner as BU defeated Merrimack 4-2.
Through nine games this season, Cockerill has produced as many points (5G, 4A). The Islanders' 2017 seventh rounder (201st overall) and the Terriers are ranked second overall in Hockey East with 10-3-0 record.

HO-SANG SCORES FIRST WITH LINKOPING

Joshua Ho-Sang scored his first goal of the season with Linkoping in the SHL. Ho Sang scored Linkoping's sole tally in their 2-1 loss to Vaxjo on Feb. 25.
Through three games, Ho-Sang has one goal. Linkoping ranked 11th overall in the SHL with a record of 13-4-3-26 (3P-2P-1P-0P).
