The New York Islanders fell 4-1 to the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night at UBS Arena.
Zach Parise had the Islanders up 1-0 in the first period, but the league's top team responded with four unanswered goals from Charlie McAvoy, Derek Forbort, Brad Marchand (PPG) and Trent Frederic.
With the loss, the Islanders end their season-long five-game homestand with a 1-2-2 record. They are 2-5-2 in their last nine games and were held to just one goal for the fifth time over that span.
