The New York Islanders beat the Dallas Stars 4-2 on Saturday afternoon at UBS Arena. The Islanders extended their point streak to six games (5-0-1) with the win.

First Period:

3:16 - NYI 1, DAL 0 -Ryan Pulock ripped a one-timer from the point that zipped through Jake Oettinger's legs to give the Islanders a 1-0 lead. Adam Pelech and Cal Clutterbuck picked up the assists.
18:46 - DAL 1, NYI 1 - Denis Gurianov buried a feed from Jacob Peterson on an odd-man rush. Ryan Suter also tallied an assist.
Third Period:
4:17 - NYI 2, DAL 1, PPG -Brock Nelson's one timer deflected off Jake Oettinger's helmet and into the goal to double the Islanders' lead 2-1. Mathew Barzal also grabbed an assist.
5:55 - NYI 3, DAL 1 - Brock Nelson scored his second goal of the game as he finished off Anthony Beauvillier's feed from the low slot. Anders Lee also registered an assist.
11:39 - NYI 3, DAL 2 -Jacob Peterson trimmed Dallas' deficit down to one goal as he beat Semyon Varlamov. Tyler Seguin and Denis Gurianov recorded the assists.
19:40 - NYI 4, DAL 2, ENG -Brock Nelson completed his hat trick as he buried an end-to-end shot on Dallas' empty net.
