3:31 - TOR 1, NYI 0, SHG - After forcing a turnover during the Islanders' four-on-three power play opportunity, Mitch Marner jetted up ice and buried a backhander past Ilya Sorokin to give Toronto a 1-0 lead. Jake Muzzin earned the sole assist on the goal.

2:00 - TOR 2, NYI 0 - Ondrej Kase buries a tic-tac-toe sequence to give Toronto a 2-0 lead. David Kampf and Nick Ritchie picked up the assists.
13:29 - TOR 3, NYI 0 -Mitch Marner extended Toronto's lead to 3-0 as he buried a feed on the doorstep from Michael Bunting.

The Islanders wrapped up their first ever back-to-back set at UBS Arena (0-2-0)… Ilya Sorokin made his 12th start of the season while his record dropped to 5-5-2… Defensemen Grant Hutton and Robin Salo, who made their respective NHL debuts on Saturday night, each played in their second-straight game… The Islanders were without Josh Bailey, Anders Lee, Ross Johnston and Adam Pelech, Andy Greene, who are all in COVID-19 protocols. Prior to the game, it was announced that Anthony Beauvillier, who missed Saturday's game due to a false positive COVID-19 test, would be in the lineup. With the news of Beauvillier's return came the discovery that Kieffer Bellows was being placed in COVID-19 protocols...
