Due to COVID-related issues, the New York Islanders game on Wednesday, Dec. 29 against the Detroit Red Wings has been postponed.
A make-up date for the game has yet to be established.
Wednesday's postponement marks the sixth Islanders game to be postponed this season after Nov. 28 at New York (rescheduled for March 17), Nov. 30 at Philadelphia, Dec. 20 vs Montreal, Dec. 23 vs Washington and Dec. 27 vs Buffalo.
The Islanders are currently scheduled to resume play on Dec. 30 vs Buffalo.
