CANADA 6, CZECHIA 3
The host club from Canada found themselves in a 3-1 hole in the opening period, but after making it 3-2, Jets prospect Cole Perfetti made sure to put Canada over the top.
First, the Jets' first round pick from 2020 set up Donovan Sebrango with a perfect backhand pass off the rush to tie the game with 29 seconds left in the opening period.
In the second period, Perfetti helped ignite Canada's power play. He teed up Owen Power for a one-timer on a five-on-three chance, then 25 seconds later, Power banged home a rebound off a shot from Perfetti to put Canada up 5-3.
Perfetti's three assists has him halfway to his point total from the seven games he played in the 2021 event.
USA 3, SLOVAKIA 2
