Holiday Donation Drive presented by Wawanesa Insurance running Dec. 4-20

WINNIPEG, Nov. 30, 2022 - The Winnipeg Jets are looking to the generosity of their fans to help brighten the holiday season for community members in need as they host their Holiday Donation Drive presented by Wawanesa Insurance in support of the Christmas Cheer Board from Dec. 4 to 20.

throughout the campaign, which kicks off at the Dec. 4 Holiday Donation Drive game when the Jets take on the visiting Anaheim Ducks at 2 p.m. QR codes directing fans to the donation webpage will be displayed at the Holiday Donation Drive game and subsequent Jets games throughout the campaign to make giving easy.

Each minimum $10 donation will be entered for a chance to win one of five prize packs consisting of four tickets to the Jets vs. Vancouver Canucks Dec. 29 home game and an autographed Jets jersey.
As presenting sponsor, Wawanesa has generously donated $10,000 to the Christmas Cheer Board to help kick off the Holiday Donation Drive and support families in need this holiday season.
Each donation is significant for Winnipeggers in need, as just $15 provides books and mittens for two children, $20 funds a toy, books and mittens for a child, and $50 affords four children toys, books and mittens.
All proceeds of the Winnipeg Jets Holiday Donation Drive will be donated to the Christmas Cheer Board in time for the holiday season. The Christmas Cheer Board provides hampers and toys to families receiving employment income assistance as well as many low-income families and pensioners, and distributes over 17,000 hampers to Winnipeggers in need each holiday season.
