The 2019 World Junior Summer Showcase is in full swing this week in Plymouth, Michigan.
Prospects from Canada, USA, Finland, and Sweden are all taking part, trying to make a good impression on evaluators ahead of this winter's IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship in Czech Republic.
The Winnipeg Jets have three prospects in attendance - Declan Chisholm (Canada), David Gustafsson (Sweden), and 2019 first round pick Ville Heinola (Finland).

Ville Heinola
Heinola won gold with Finland at the 2019 World Junior Hockey Championship and is one of four members of that squad skating with Finland at this week's showcase.
The defenceman played in only one of Finland's two games so far. He helped his country to a 3-2 win over USA White on July 27, but missed the 7-1 loss to USA Blue due to injury.
Finland's coach, Raimo Helminen,
told Adam Kimmelman of NHL.com
that Heinola's injury isn't severe and that the 18-year-old (who signed an entry-level contract with the Jets on July 15) could be available to play later in the tournament.
Finland's remaining schedule features a match-up with Canada on July 31, followed by contests with USA (August 2) and Sweden (August 3).
David Gustafsson
The fact Gustafsson is a full participant for Sweden at this event is a good sign after the 2018 second round pick didn't skate at the Jets development camp in late June due to injury.
The 19-year-old centre had a goal and an assist on July 27 in a 4-2 loss to USA Blue, before he and Sweden defeated USA White 2-1 the next day.
The schedule for the rest of the week has Sweden playing USA on July 31, Canada on August 2, and Finland on August 3.
Declan Chisholm
Chisholm was added to Canada's roster for the event on July 22. It's the second time Chisholm has worn Canada's colours in his career after playing for Canada Black at the World Under-17s during the 2016-17 season.
In that event, the defenceman had two assists in six games to help Canada to a silver medal.
Chisholm is one of the 11 defencemen, five goaltenders, and 22 forwards Canada brought to the event. From there, they will split into two teams and play out a schedule that features match-ups against the USA on July 30 and August 3. Between those, Canada plays Finland on July 31 and Sweden on August 2.
