Jets sign Buddy Robinson

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg Jets announced they have agreed to terms with forward Buddy Robinson on a one-year, two-way contract with an average annual value of $650,000.

Robinson, 25, split last season between the Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks organizations. He played in four games for the Senators and registered 12 points (7G, 5A) in 33 games in the AHL with the Binghamton Senators. The product of Bellmawr, N.J. was traded to San Jose on Jan. 24 and tallied 19 points (10G, 9A) in 33 games with the Barracuda. In the playoffs, he had nine points (4G, 5A) in 15 games with the Barracuda. He has played 278 games in the AHL, tallying 123 points (59G, 64A).
