WINNIPEG, July 6, 2021 - The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have agreed to terms with forward Dominic Toninato on a two-year contract with an average annual value in the NHL of $750,000. The contract is a two-way deal in 2021-22 and a one-way in 2022-23.

Toninato, 27, played two regular season games for the Jets in 2020-21 and recorded one assist. His first goal for Winnipeg was the game winner in Game One of the Jets' First Round series sweep over Edmonton, one of his three playoff games. Toninato also played three games for the Manitoba Moose and had three goals. He has played 87 NHL games for the Jets, Florida Panthers and Colorado Avalanche and recorded 15 points (5G, 10A) and 49 penalty minutes. The Duluth, Minn. native played four years for his hometown University of Minnesota-Duluth before making his professional debut in 2017-18.
Toninato was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round (126th overall) in the 2012 NHL Draft.
