Rittich, 29, played 17 games for the Nashville Predators last season and had a 6-3-4 record with a 3.57 goals-against average and a .886 save percentage. The native of Jihlava, Czechia also started one playoff game for the Predators.
Rittich, an undrafted free agent, signed with the Calgary Flames in 2016 and played parts of five seasons for the Flames. He posted a 63-39-15 record in 130 games with four shutouts, a 2.83 GAA and a .908 SV% for Calgary. He was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Apr. 11/21 and went 1-1-1 with a 2.72 GAA and .888 SV% in four games.
Internationally, Rittich represented Czechia at the 2018 World Hockey Championships and posted a 2-1-0 record with a shutout, a 1.98 GAA and a .900 SV%.
