Second PP unit continues to produce with three goal effort over Ducks

WINNIPEG - In a 9-3 Jets win over the Anaheim Ducks there are plenty of story lines to choose from. First career hat tricks and franchise records to name a few.
How about the dominance of power play unit featuring Bryan Little, Jacob Trouba, Mathieu Perreault, Tyler Myers and Jack Roslovic? Roslovic potted all three of his goals on Saturday night with the man advantage.

"The way we've been scoring goals on the power play has been pretty good for our unit," said Roslovic.
"You know when the PP one isn't clicking, it's always nice to have a second back up that can be a little hot. It's good."

While opposing teams are zeroing in on Wheeler, Scheifele, Laine, Connor and Morrissey, they are learning quickly the other group has just as much punch and that can only be a benefit as the playoffs loom.
"The history of this year is Mark's (Scheifele) unit gets so incredibly hot in that stretch in November and December. I think they ran 47 per cent on five games," said Paul Maurice.
"Then they went a long stretch where their zone time was off the charts. They were almost running two minutes at a time and we saw a piece of it tonight. Then it gets to a point where it's going to bottom out. That's just the cycle of a power play. We've got good players for another unit and having that means we have a chance to win games."
The second power play group has been on fire as of late, scoring 12 of the last 20 man advantage goals for the Jets.

"Their breakouts are quick and the puck moves really, really fast with those guys and as you can see they are almost interchangeable in the positions that they get to," said Maurice.
"Which gives them a different look every time whether the guy at the half wall is on his one-timer side or his natural side. It changes a lot of things and they have some chemistry together that group."
