As we continue to build our alumni community, the memories of this special group are strong ones. The most beloved recollections of our fans are connected to playoff victories. Dan belongs in that special category of Winnipeg Jets coaches who achieved playoff success, guiding the Jets to a series victory over the Calgary Flames in 1987. As one half of the toughest coach and general manager combination ever with John Ferguson Sr., Dan is remembered by our organization as a coach with a hardened exterior who also possessed the kindest soul away from the game.
