The LA Kings encourage the development of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education across Los Angeles. The LA Kings engage children in interactive application of science and math concepts to the sport of hockey through both the Kings Science of Hockey exhibit at Discovery Cube Los Angeles and the Future Goals – Hockey Scholar Program.

The Royal Readers Program, used in over 100 schools through L.A., aids teachers in encouraging and rewarding children for reading through fun milestone prizes and giveaways.

Bailey and Ice Crew visit libraries across the county through Storytime Library Visits, where they read the LA Kings original children’s book, B is for Bailey, to hundreds of children every summer.
