The Stanley Cup has been raised, free agency is just days away and we just learned our 82-game schedule for the 2023-24 season. That can only mean one thing, the 2023 NHL Draft is here! As we now sit less than 24 hours from the beginning of the first round, it's time to find out where the future stars of the game we all love are going to play.

The seven-round draft will take place over the next two days and will see a total of 224 players selected. Of those 224 picks, the Kings currently own five of them. As it stands, the Kings are without a first round selection, which was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets as part of the deadline deal to bring in Vladislav Gavrikov and Joonas Korpisalo, as well as a seventh round selection. It looks to be busy middle of the draft for the Kings pending any trades to move up or down.
