The Kings picked up a point in Thursday's shootout loss against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Kings fought the scoreboard the entire game as they never led, trailing by one goal three separate times. Thankfully, the Kings fight never stopped as they fought back to tie the game three times, ultimately sending the game into overtime.

The Kings next two goals came from the stick of Phillip Danault, one on the power play and one at even strength. It was Danault's 20th and 21st goals of the season, the first time the Kings center has hit the 20 goal mark in his career.
Jonathan Quick started for the Kings and stopped 28 of 31 shots.
Notable Performances:
- Sean Durzi registered a career-high three assists in a single game. He tied the franchise record for most assists by a rookie defenseman in a single game. - Viktor Arvidsson registered his 21st assist of the season.
