The LA Kings 70-game broadcast schedule on FOX Sports West begins tomorrow night with the debut of first-year Kings Television Play-by-Play Announcer Alex Faust alongside TV Analyst Jim Fox.
Tomorrow night's Kings preseason game at STAPLES Center against the Arizona Coyotes begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Prime Ticket.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. the "Kings Live Season Preview" show will air, followed by the "Kings Live" pregame show at 7 p.m. Immediately after the game "Kings Live" postgame will air.
The Kings conclude their 2017 preseason schedule on Saturday against the Ducks at STAPLES (7:30 p.m. - Prime Ticket and KABC).
Faust joins an illustrious tradition of Kings broadcasters, including three broadcasters (Bob Miller, Nick Nickson, Jiggs McDonald) who have received the Foster Hewitt Award, as selected by the NHL Professional Broadcasters' Association. This award, which recognizes those members of the radio and television industry who have made outstanding contributions to their profession and the game during their hockey broadcasting careers, is recognized by a plaque in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

LA Kings All-Time Broadcasting Teams

Alex Faust is in his first season as the Kings TV Play-by-Play Announcer. He was named to the position on June 1, 2017.
Faust takes over for Miller, who retired in April after calling Kings games the past 44 years.

Faust has called hockey games on NBCSN, NESN and Westwood One Radio. From 2013-15, he was a radio broadcaster for the American Hockey League's (AHL) Utica Comets, calling the first game in franchise history, serving as the 'Inside the Glass' reporter for the 2015 AHL All-Star Game, and calling games during the team's run to the Calder Cup Finals in 2015.
Faust had served as a college football and basketball play-by-play commentator with ESPNU and Fox Sports since 2015, and called this past season's NCAA Men's Frozen Four on Westwood One. Previously, Faust was the voice of Northeastern University men's basketball, becoming one of the youngest play-by-play broadcasters to call an NCAA tournament game at age 26. In addition, Alex has worked in minor league baseball, serving as the radio broadcaster for the single-A Staten Island Yankees for two years.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Faust (for pronunciation purposes FOWST / rhymes with House) graduated from Northeastern University in 2012 with a degree in political science and economics. In 2011 as a college junior Faust received the Jim Nantz Award which is presented annually to the nation's top collegiate sports broadcaster.
After graduation Faust worked for four years for a major accounting firm as a Business Analyst/Consultant.
In his role with the Kings, Faust will contribute to the organization year-round in a similar role and be integrated throughout business operations. He will work closely with the organization's Data Intelligence departments to help develop analytics and information that can be delivered through the Kings telecasts.
