Four LA Kings prospects have been named among the 34 players chosen to attend Team Canada's upcoming World Junior Selection Camp, which will be held December 10-14 in Victoria, British Columbia.
The camp roster includes three goaltenders, 12 defensemen and 19 forwards.

Gabe Vilardi

The 19-year-old (born August 16, 1999) is a 6-3, 201-pound native of Kingston, Ontario who was drafted No. 11 overall by the Kings in the 2017 NHL Draft.

Vilardi, currently on a conditioning assignment with the Ontario Reign, picked up his first professional point this past weekend when he assisted Philippe Maillet's goal during the Reign's 5-4 win over the Tucson Roadrunners.

Last season, Vilardi picked up 58 points (22-36=58) in 32 games with the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League. He added 22 points (11-11=22) in 16 playoff games.
In his OHL career, Vilardi had 157 points (68-89=157) in 143 games with the Windsor Spitfires and Frontenacs.
Following the 2017 playoffs with Windsor, his team earned a berth in the Memorial Cup as the host team. The Spitfires went undefeated on home ice, and won the Memorial Cup. Vilardi lead his team in assists and ranked second on the Spitfires in points (0-7=7). Two of his assists came in the championship game against the Erie Otters, where he was named the second star of the night.

with the Kings in March.

Jaret Anderson-Dolan

The 19-year-old forward (born September 12, 1999) is a 5-11, 191-pound native of Calgary, Alberta who was drafted No. 41 overall by the Kings in the 2017 NHL Draft.
Anderson-Dolan made his NHL debut with the LA Kings earlier this season after impressing Kings staff during training camp. He appeared in five games, earning his first NHL point (0-1=1) against the Montreal Canadiens on October 11.

Following his stint with the Kings, Anderson-Dolan was assigned to the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League where he picked up two points (2-0=2) in two games before being sidelined by an injury.

Despite the injury, Team Canada announced that Anderson-Dolan remains under consideration for a roster spot. His condition will continue to be monitored and a decision will be made prior to the start of the tournament.
Last season, Anderson-Dolan registered career-highs in goals, assists, points and plus/minus, posting 91 points (40-51=91) and a plus-9 rating while serving his second season as Spokane's assistant captain. He added nine points (2-7=9) in seven postseason games.
He then made his professional debut with the Reign, recording two points (0-2=2) in five regular season games.

The 19-year-old (born March 21, 1999) is a 6-0, 207-pound native of Toronto, Ontario. The defenseman was drafted No. 118 overall by the Kings in the 2017 NHL Draft.

Phillips has picked up 103 points (27-76=103) in 226 career games with the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL.

Matthew Villalta

The 19-year-old (born June 3, 1999) is a 6-2, 165-pound native of Kingston, Ontario. The goaltender was drafted No. 72 overall by the Kings in the 2017 NHL Draft.
This season, Villalta has a 12-3-3-0 record with a .904 save percentage and a 3.05 goals against average in 18 games with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL.
In his OHL career, Villalta has posted a 77-11-5-2 record with a .910 save percentage and a 2.61 goals against average in 100 games.
He
signed a three-year, entry-level contract
with the Kings in April.
Following selection camp, the Canadian squad will be paired down to the final 22 players who will represent their country at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship in Vancouver from December 26 through January 5.
