The LA Kings gave up the first goal, but poured it on late as they defeated the Vegas Golden Knights, 6-2, in the first of two Rookie Games between the Pacific Division clubs.
Matt Luff got the scoring started and added two assists, while Jaret Anderson-Dolan celebrated his 18th birthday with a goal and an assist as the Kings rookies broke open the game with five goals in the third period.
The two teams go back at it tomorrow as
Game 2 starts at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Toyota Sports Center
