Ilya-Kovalchuk-Out-4-Weeks-Ankle-Injury

The LA Kings have announced that Ilya Kovalchuk has been placed on injured reserve retroactive to Nov. 29 and will be out approximately four weeks while recovering from an ankle bursectomy procedure.
Kovalchuk ranks third on the Kings in points (5-9=14).
