Originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round (57th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft, he has registered 36 points (20-16=36) in 129 regular-season games. He has also played parts of three seasons in the American Hockey League, posting 70 points (29-41=70) in 97 appearances with the Ontario Reign and Toronto Marlies. In 2017-18, he registered 14 points (8-6=14) in 20 games to help the Marlies capture the Calder Cup. Prior to his professional debut in North America, Grundstrom played three seasons in the Swedish Hockey League where he collected 65 points (40-25=65) in 153 games with Frolunda HC and MODO Hockey.
The Umea, Sweden native has also represented Sweden in four International Ice Hockey Federation events, including the 2022 IIHF Men's World Championship, 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship, 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship, and 2015 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship.
Andersson, 23, tallied two points (1-1=2) in 20 games for the Kings this past season. Originally drafted seventh overall by the New York Rangers in the 2017 NHL Draft, the 6-1, 190-pound forward was acquired by the Kings in exchange for the 60th overall selection of the 2022 NHL Draft. In 109 career NHL games, he has collected 17 points (7-10=17) in 109 career NHL games and added 62 points (27-35=62) in 93 AHL games with the Ontario Reign and Hartford Wolf Pack.
Andersson has also skated parts of four seasons in the Swedish Hockey League with HV71 and Frolunda HC. In 120 SHL games, he registered 56 points (28-28=56) and added five points (4-1=5) in 20 playoff games.
Internationally, the Smogen, Sweden native has represented Sweden in several international tournaments. A gold medalist at the 2018 IIHF Men's World Championship (1-1=2, 10 GP), Andersson has twice served in a leadership role for Sweden, captaining the country to a silver medal in the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship (6-1=7, 7 GP) and serving as an alternate captain for the silver medal-winning entry at the 2016 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship (5-4=9, 7 GP). He also posted three assists in seven games during the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship, falling to Russia in the bronze medal game.
