The LA Kings have signed forward Brendan Lemieux to a one-year contract extension worth an annual average value (AAV) of $1,350,000.
Lemieux, 26, has posted 17 points (10-7=17) in 68 games over two seasons with the Kings since being acquired from the New York Rangers on March 27, 2021, in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft. Since making his NHL debut during the 2017-18 season, the 6-1, 215-pound forward has appeared in 230 games with the Kings, Rangers and the Winnipeg Jets, posting 60 points (31-29=60) and 410 penalty minutes. He also has one goal in eight career playoff games.
