Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kings visit the Canadiens in Montreal for the first time in 731 days.
On October 30th, the Kings went 3-for-5 on the power play last time they played Montreal. It was the first time the have scored at least three power play goals in a game since Feb. 11, 2021 vs. San Jose.
Canadiens Notes:
Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin will miss his third consecutive game after being struck in the head by a shot on November 1.
After having reached the Stanley Cup finals last season, the Canadiens currently sit last in the Eastern conference.
Who to Watch:
Phillip Danault, who returns to Montreal for the first time as a visitor since leaving the Canadiens during the off-season after six seasons with the team. Danault also enters the contest coming off his best statistical performance as the King had a recorded three points (2-1=3) in last night's 5-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Nick Suzuki, who leads the Canadiens in assists (9) and points (12).
