LA Kings Acquire Matheson Iacopelli from Chicago Blackhawks

The LA Kings have acquired forward Matheson Iacopelli from the Chicago Blackhawks for forward Spencer Watson, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today.
The 24-year-old Iacopelli (born May 15, 1994) is a 6-2, 207-pound native of Woodhaven, Michigan who has appeared in 85 regular-season games over the last three years with Rockford of the American Hockey League, posting 27 points (14-13=27) and 29 penalty minutes.

He has also played in nine games this season with the Indy Fuel of the ECHL, where he has posted four goals (4-0=4) and four penalty minutes.
The Kings continue a four-game road trip tomorrow against the Tampa Bay Lightning at 4:30 p.m.
