Moverare

LOS ANGELES - The LA Kings have loaned defenseman Jacob Moverare to SaiPa (Liiga) in Finland, according to Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake. Moverare is eligible to rejoin the organization for the 2020-21 season.

The 22-year old defenseman posted 19 points (7-12=19) in 51 games with Frolunda (SHL) last season. He led the team and tied for seventh in the league with a plus-17 rating. The native of Ostersund, Sweden, has played in 97 career regular-season games in the SHL over the past two seasons, posting 26 points (11-15=26) and a plus-15 rating. He helped Frolunda to an SHL Championship in 2019, recording six points (3-3=6) in 16 games.
The 6-3, 195-pound blueliner won a silver medal with Team Sweden at both the 2018 World Junior Championship and the U18 World Junior Championship.
Moverare was selected by the Kings in the fourth-round (112th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.
