The Kings remained in Quebec following their two final preseason games ahead of opening the 2024-25 regular season on Thursday in Buffalo. A Sunday off-day golf tournament played out on the links saw a three-way tie atop the leaderboard. Now back on the ice, the Kings practiced in Charlevoix, Quebec, a town just over an hour northeast of where the Kings played the Bruins and Panthers.
Phillip Danault (mainly in French), Warren Foegele, Alex Laferriere and head coach Jim Hiller all spent time with media following their Monday skate.
- Hiller touched the value of getting out and having fun on the course away from the hotel and rink among a furry of other topics.
- Danault spoke of the highlights of coming back to his hour province of Quebec and reflected on the trip.
- Foegele touched on the benefits of starting the season on the road as a newcomer to the team and the value of getting to spend large quantities of time with his new team.
- Laferriere compared where his career is right now to one year ago compared today.
It'll be a travel day tomorrow, Tuesday the 8th as the Kings will leave Quebec and head to Buffalo.
