The Kings are just seven games from the playoffs. Across many other leagues, their regular seasons have concluded and the playoffs are underway. For the Kings prospects, another opportunity arises to impress against their league's best and top competition. We give you the latest update on the future of Kings hockey in your LA Kings Prospect Report presented by Enterprise.

Francesco Pinelli (Kitchener Rangers, OHL)

Like Clarke, Francesco Pinelli is also playing OHL playoff hockey. Having entered the playoffs as the captain of the eighth-seeded Kitchener Rangers, Pinelli also earned the first star in Game 1, beating the West's best Windsor Spitfires 5-3. Pinelli went a game-high plus-4 and netted a goal and two assists. Having taken away home ice advantage from the Spitfires, Pinelli looks to continue the impressive year that he has had, having recorded 90 points (41-49=90) in 60 regular season games.

Alex Turcotte (Ontario Reign, AHL)

The former first rounder has been a consistent contributor with the Reign this season and especially as of late. Turcotte has notched points in four of his last six games (0-4=6) and is up to 17 points (6-11=17) in 28 games this season. Turcotte looks to break through and record his seventh goal of the season as the 22 year old has notched six goals in each season of his three-year career thus far.

Erik Portillo (University of Michigan, NCAA)

The newly acquired Swedish goalie from the Wolverines has been big for his team, helping Michigan to the Frozen Four. The only Kings prospect to make the Frozen Four this year was rock solid in the two NCAA Tournament games, posting a .99 GAA and a .962 SV%. Portillo has won six straight games and will face off against Quinnipiac University in the semifinals of the Frozen Four on April 6th. Portillo has posted a 25-10-2 record with 2.97 GAA and a .909 SV% this season.
