LA Kings Recall Kevin Gravel From the Ontario Reign

The Los Angeles Kings have recalled defenseman Kevin Gravel from the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today.

The 25-year-old Gravel is a 6-5, 212-pound native of Kingsford, Mich. who has appeared in 24 games this season with Ontario, recording nine points (3-6=9) and 15 penalty minutes.

Selected by the Kings in the fifth-round (148th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Gravel appeared in 49 games last season with the Kings, posting seven points (1-6=7), a plus-3 rating and six penalty minutes.
The Kings host the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at STAPLES Center. The game will be broadcast on FOX Sports West and KABC Radio 790 with pregame shows beginning at 7 p.m.
