LA Kings Sign Austin Wagner to Three-Year Contract Extension

The LA Kings have signed forward Austin Wagner to a three-year contract extension, according to Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake. The contract carries an average annual value (AAV) of $1.133 million.

The 6-1, 185-pound winger posted 11 points (6-5=11) and a team-leading 145 hits in 65 games last season with the Kings. The Calgary, Alberta native racked up 32 points (18-14=32) in 127 games over the last two seasons while recording 287 hits, the second most on the Kings during that time.
Originally selected by the Kings in the fourth-round (99th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Wagner also compiled 20 points (13-7=20) in 59 contests with the Ontario Reign (AHL) over the last two seasons.
