Kings Notes:
The Kings enter tonight riding a 12-game home point streak (10-0-2), dating back to Feb. 11 (6-0 W vs. PIT). It is the largest home point streak the Kings have established since the 1992-93 season (12-0-1-0, Oct. 10 - Dec. 8, 1992). The team has an overall active point streak of 11 games, tied for the longest in franchise history (also 11 GP set from Feb. 28 to March 24, 1974 and matched from Jan. 22 - Feb. 17, 2011 and from Nov. 7-27, 2013. A point tonight would extend their overall point streak into a 12th game, establishing a new franchise record.
Forwards Phillip Danault and Viktor Arvidsson both reached the 50-point mark yesterday, becoming the fourth and fifth different Kings forwards this season to record at least 50 points. The last time the Kings had at least five forwards with 50 or more points in a single season was the 1999-00 campaign: Glen Murray (29-33=62), Ziggy Pálffy (27-39=66), Luc Robitaille (36-38=74), Bryan Smolinski (20-36=56) and Jozef Stümpel (17-41=58).
Tonight's game marks the final game of the Kings' 10-home game month of March. The team has gone 7-0-2 through their nine games this month so far. Should the Kings clinch a victory tonight, it would tie the franchise record for the most home wins a single month previously set in March of 1974 (8-1-2-0).
Defenseman Drew Doughty earned his 11th multi-point effort of the season yesterday, including tallying his fourth goal over his last five games (4-1=5). Doughty's assist marked his 40th of the season for his third 40-plus assist season. In doing so, Doughty tied Steve Duchesne (3x) and Larry Murphy (3x) for the most 40-assist seasons by a defenseman in team history.

Yesterday's assist was Kopitar's 410th career home assist. Only Marcel Dionne (412) has tallied more helpers at home in a Kings jersey than Kopitar.
The former Kings draft pick Brayden Schenn, who is coming off of a three-point (2-1=3) night on Saturday against the Anaheim Ducks. Schenn has seven points (4-3=7) in the last five games and has 56 points (21-35=56) in 72 games this season.
