The Royal Army will serve as the Official Supporters Group of the LA Kings, the club and the group's organizers today jointly announced.
The LA Royal Army, an independent group of Kings fans who have come together to enthusiastically "cheer-on" on the team with energetic chants, drums, and flags will call Section 303 of STAPLES Center their home beginning this season.

"Organizers of the Royal Army came to us this summer and explained their vision and it is exciting to see their enthusiasm aligning together in section 303," said Kings Chief Operating Officer Kelly Cheeseman. "They are going to bring a lot of noise and visuals like flags and drums to STAPLES for Kings games similar to what we see elsewhere in soccer as well as hockey arenas in Europe, like our team in Berlin. It's going to be awesome to build the atmosphere at home."
Said Luc Robitaille, Kings President and Hockey Hall of Famer: "They approached the Kings and it was great to hear their sincere passion for our hockey club and our organization. Players on the ice love to feed off the energy of the crowd."
All supporters section Season Ticket Members will receive an official Royal Army Membership Kit. The supporters section Season Ticket is just $20 per game.
Said DJ Baltazar, of the LA Royal Army: "One of the big things we want to accomplish both this season and in the future is add to the atmosphere and culture at STAPLES Center and Kings games everywhere. We are proud of the fact that there is a passionate and dedicated fanbase who love their team and their city, so we invite all Kings fans everywhere to join us in section 303 all season long and on the road wherever we go."
The next official meetup for the Royal Army will be at Toyota Sports Performance Center on Saturday, September 25, from 10:30 am-12:30 pm during LA Kings training camp.
