The LA Kings have announced the following player transactions.

Brandon Prust - F
Brandon Prust, who totaled three goals and eight points in 29 games last season with the Nuremberg-based Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers of the DEL, is a veteran of 486 NHL games with Calgary, Phoenix, the New York Rangers, Montreal and Vancouver. In 2015-16, his last season in North America, he split time between the Vancouver and their AHL affiliate in Utica, totaling one goal, seven points and 59 penalty minutes with the Canucks and one goal and seven points and five penalty minutes in nine games with the Comets. In 486 career NHL games, he has 40 goals, 115 points and 1,036 penalty minutes.
Shane Harper - F
Valencia, California native Shane Harper, a winger who played locally for the West Valley Wolves and California Wave. The 28-year-old appeared in 14 games last season with the Florida Panthers, totaling two goals and three points, and also appeared in 58 AHL games with Springfield and Albany. His best AHL season came in 2014-15 when he amassed 32 goals in 75 games for the Chicago Wolves. In 398 career AHL games, Harper has 85 goals and 183 points.

Matt Villalta, a 6-2, 165-pound 18-year old (born on Jan. 3, 1999) native of Kingston, Ontario posted a 25-3-0 record, .918 save percentage, 2.41 goals-against average and one shutout in 33 regular-season games. Among league-leaders, Villalta ranked second in save percentage, fifth in goals-against average and tied for seventh in wins, while being the top rookie in all three categories.
The Kings have 60 players remaining on their 2017 Training Camp roster.
