Within every department of the LA Kings business operations are incredible women at all levels who help to make the organization successful. Each contributes her vision, experience, and hard work on a daily basis.
In celebration of the 36th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD), the LA Kings are proud to spotlight the achievements of several female employees that have made an impact in their roles with the Kings.

Kaity Dychala

Kaity Dychala started with The Kings in 2021 as the Associate Producer of Game Presentation and Live Events. Kaity and her team are responsible for designing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the gameday fan experience. Hailing for Pennsylvania, she began her professional career working for Tough Mudder producing obstacle course runs around the United States.

Ashley Lane

Ashley Lane has acted as the LA Kings first Director of Creative for four seasons. Her goal joining the Kings was to celebrate the brands historical and cultural background and identify ways to push the reach and relevance of the LA Kings within the LA community, through the NHL, and global sports and entertainment stages. Prior to joining the Kings her experience came from years of working in different verticals such as financial strategy, corporate business strategy, visual design, experiential activations, and launching a start-up as a producer of digital content and series for global brands such as Coca-Cola, Ford, Reebok, Unilever and more. She graduated with a double major in strategic business design and graphic design from Parsons School of Design in New York. Ashley continues to work with LA Kings and identify cutting edge ways for the brand and their partners to excite fans and celebrate the best sport on ice.

Sally Chakkou

Sally Chakkou is the HR Generalist for the AEG Sports divisions; LA Kings, Ontario Reign and AEG Rugby. Sally provides ongoing support to employees & managers in the areas of recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, terminations, and acts as a resource to employees on HR-related matters. Before joining AEG Sports, she worked at Career Group Companies, a recruiting agency in Century City, as their HR Generalist. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor's degree in Business Management from California State University, Northridge. She is brand new to sports and has been loving every bit of it!

Celia Garth

Celia Garth is the Coordinator of the Kings Care Foundation. In her role, she supports the Kings Care Foundation and Community Relations staff with in-arena and online fundraising, processing donation requests, and executing their silent auction. Celia is passionate about serving local communities in Los Angeles and is grateful she can this through sports. She started her career in sports with the Los Angeles Lakers in their Community Relations department. Celia graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Political Science and Public Relations.

Gaby Smotrys

Gaby Smotrys is the Supervisor, Fan Experience for the LA Kings, facilitating the best-in-class experience the team provides to Season Ticket Members, group leaders, prospective Members, and many other stakeholders and fans. Starting in 2016 as an Associate in the Kings Care Foundation/Community Relations group, Gaby supported community-related efforts surrounding the 50th Anniversary season and the 2017 NHL All-Star game, hosted at (then) STAPLES Center. She joined the team in a full-time role in 2017, and since then has expanded that role within the Ticket Sales and Service group. One of her favorite parts about her job is getting to help other staff who also started as Associates to grow within the organization, just as others helped her to do.

Gaby, like the Kings, was born, raised and educated in LA, holding a Bachelor's in Public Relations and a Master's in Communication Management from USC's Annenberg School.
