On September 17th, the LA Kings hosted community partner 24 Degrees of Color at the Toyota Sports Performance Center to celebrate the Latino and Hispanic Heritage of their youth players and families.
The players and their families were welcomed to the event with a mariachi and then participated in a practice led by the LA Kings Hockey Development team and Al Montoya, a former NHL goalie and the first Cuban American to play in the league. The players even decorated their gear and uniforms to express their cultural heritage!
